If you read “Friends Friends” faster, it becomes Fen Fens. The phrase is the origin of the band name. In Chinese, Fen Fens means to gather, which represents the year long friendship between the members. To have many good friends in life is already lucky. To have friends who are working towards the same dream together is extremely fortunate. The members have known each other for years. Because of a member’s words, “Hey, since we get along so well, why don’t we compose our own music?” In 2008, Fen- Fens was born.
